High-end dark chocolate that is best eaten in moderation. When you eat chocolate of this nature, it is all about the quality and not the quantity. My only issue with this is the individual packaging. Due to the strength of the chocolate, the flavors tended to blend together due to the lack of quality wrapping needed to separate such strong flavors of chocolate. Besides that, this is a unique gift that will make someone feel very special!!!

This is one of the Christmas presents purchased for my girlfriend. I had a peek inside the box and WOW.. keep these away from anyone on a diet. These look and smell delicious. The metal case will be great to keep small things in after the candy is gone or as art decor.
I can’t wait to see her expression when she opens these. I haven’t tasted them yet but I’m sure they are good.

This contains 6 large bars. The bars may break into several pieces during shipping as mine were. I’d recommend the addition of secure packing material inside of the metal case. I knocked off a star for that.

I bought this for my parent’s surprise 40th Anniversary party…casino themed. They arrived early, arrived with cooling packets to keep them from overheating and getting yucky. I’m not a chocolate person…so the only taste reveiws I have are from all the comments I got on how good they were and how people grabbed them to take with them! I barely had some for my own parents!

I used these as table decorations/favors. A+++++ If I ever throw another casino party, I’d reorder these!

I recently bought this item for a friend whom I rarely get to see because we live far away from one another. Having always a refined palate and sense of smell, good food has long been a joy in my life. Not to say it is purely a blessing: as a child I hated zoos because the smell would penetrate my core and incapacitate me to some degree. But on to the chocolate. I would by no means call myself a choco-holic, at least I wouldn’t have before I tried these amazing creations from Amedei. Chocolate usually leaves an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth that lingers long beyond the joy I receive from its initial flavor. However, the Amedei I have tried thusfar provides no unpleasant aftertast whatsoever. On the contrary, the incredibly potent, delicious aromas and contrasts lingers on the tongue and in the nose for fifteen, sometimes thirty minutes after enjoying the chocolate. As for the initial flavor, imagine the purest cocoa aroma. However, like I have hinted already, Amedei chocolates are unlike any other I have tried. Like a fine glass of red wine, the chocolate possesses layers of flavors that change as it melts on your tongue. As the chocolate begins to melt, notes of raspberry and currant light up, still accompanied by this delectably smooth, rich chocolatiness that can only be described as bliss. A friend who was luckiest enough for me to share with described the sensation as if she were on some sort of drug: a chocolate drug. I agree, and recommend buying several napolitains, and savoring one each morning. Amedei might have found a substitute for morning coffee, one that far surpasses in both flavor and effect. Trust me, your days will be much happier with a start like this. But this chocolate is so special no description can truly do it justice. You much try it yourself, and remember not to chew.
