SHOW OVERVIEW
For those of you like me who would pass by this show because of its supernatural ties, know that it is full of substance, not relying on any dazzling paranormal special effects to compensate for lack of depth. As another reviewer notes, the show uses the ghosts to explore human relationships, both among the living and the dead, rather than just for scares or oohs and ahhs. To classify it, the show is a drama with some laughs, mystery, and moments of horror mixed in.

Walker Texas Ranger: The Seventh Season I absolutely love this DVD. I could not wait until this came out. This now completes my Walker collection. There are some really incredible episodes. The one with the suicide of the young boy is by far one of my favorites on this set. The wedding of course, I could not wait to see this. I remember watching this series with my family and have really enjoyed going back and seeing some of my favorite episodes as well as new ones. This is definitely a keeper for any collection.

Team America: World Police – Unrated (Widescreen Special Collector’s Edition) My kids were just at the wrong age, too young, for me to have gotten into South Park, so “Team America” was kind of a revelation to me. The movie is vulgar, politically incorrect and oh so crude. But it is also a very smart combination of writing, smart puppeteering and topical satire that is just has to be seen to be believed.

Criminal Minds: Season 3 This show just gets better and better. Even when actors leave the show (i.e. Mandy Patinkin), the other actors have the chops to pick up the slack. I love this show (all seasons) and hope they keep up the good work. Joe Montegna is playing a completely different character than Mandy Patinkin’s character. And for real…did anyone really think that Mandy Patinkin would stay past two seasons?
I have my favorite Characters in this show and they rock! Who can resist Garcia and her relationship with Morgan. And Dr. Reid with his I’m so smart that I’m clueless role. Love it!
The Carnage that happens every week is an excellent backdrop for this ensemble!

It looks gorgeous (DLP) and sounds incredible (7.1 SS). I won’t try to go into detail, because there are reviews here that go into dire detail that I will refrain from. CSI NY: The Complete Fifth Season Killers using avatars to lure people to their doom. A runner shows up at a firesale on wedding dresses and ends up dead from a simple push. A Nazi selling family heirlooms from the Holocaust. The fifth season of CSI:NY continued to have fascinating, challenging stories and changes that would effect the characters personally. This remains my favorite of the “CSI” shows (I dislike the overwrought “CSI: Miami” compared to the more down-to-Earth “CSI: NY” but that’s me. When David Caruso takes off his sunglasses and throws out those snappy one-liners it reminds me of a bad Shatner moment).

Eric Stolz stars as Keith, a sensitive artistic kid from the wrong side of the tracks, who works after school as an auto mechanic and who has a monumental crush on pretty and popular classmate Amanda (Lea Thompson). Mary Stuart Masterson is pitch perfect as tough tom boy Watts, Keith’s best friend.
